The Senior Development Engineer I has mastered the Development Engineer II duties and responsibilities, and requires knowledge of advanced engineering principles and methods related to tire design and analysis to meet target objectives. The Sr. Development Engineer I is responsible for all phases of replacement tire development including the design of experiments, testing and analysis of results. Assignments may include challenging projects that cover both replacement and original equipment tires which involve a close partnership with outside customers to achieve desired objectives.
The Development Engineer I requires knowledge of general engineering principles to develop a capability in tire design and analysis. The Development Engineer is responsible for learning the various phases of tire development including the design of experiments, testing and analysis of results.
The position is hybrid and requires the employee to be on-site minimum 3-4 days per week.

To provide engineering support for plant systems for equipment and facilities. Ensures mechanical systems and components meet required specifications for safety, economy, reliability and sustainability. Designs, coordinates and implements mechanical systems, evaluates, selects and applies mechanical engineering techniques, principals and procedures to ensure the highest quality product is produced. Prepares complete documentation related to projects.
POSITION PURPOSE:
To develop, modify and troubleshoot machine PLC controls and processes to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and reliability. Work with various phases of automated control projects such as: design, estimating, soliciting quotes, negotiating contracts, developing schedules and budgets, implementing, modifying, and troubleshooting.

POSITION PURPOSE:
