To provide precision engineered tooling support for development and continuous operations. Ensures components and
equipment meet required specifications for safety, reliability, and sustainability. Designs, coordinates, and implements die
and tooling systems, plus evaluates and applies rubber flow techniques, principals, and procedures to ensure the highest
quality product is produced. Prepares complete documentation related to projects.
· Design, implementation, and installation of dies for rubber flow consistency, reliability, and productivity
· Verifies compliance of flow to design specifications and tolerances
· Discusses and solves complex problems with other technical departments
· Manages tool and die projects using sound principles and techniques
· Develops, tests and evaluates theoretical designs
· Monitors and commissions rubber transport equipment and assists with troubleshooting and repairs
· Provides maintenance department appropriate documentation and training on systems
· Prepares documentation, reports, and updates engineering specifications related to studies and projects
· Provides technical support to technical, maintenance, and production operations
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to travel for training assignments to domestic and foreign facilities.
Otherwise – limited domestic travel for educational, technical, or business related opportunities.
· Good knowledge of structural mechanics and dynamics

· Effective written/oral communication
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Proficient in milling and welding
· Knowledge of CAD, CNC, machining, welding, and other precision tooling processes
· Has worked successfully in both team and individual environments – good listener – continuous learner
· High School Diploma
· AA DEGREE – Preferred or commensurate experience in Tool Design
Able to spend time walking the production areas, talking with operators and maintenance associates, can
climb 3 floors of stairs. Use of welders, mills, lathes, hand tools, and meters for performing evaluations
