Summary

As an HR Intern at Yokohama, you will gain insight and hands on experience in several different aspects of Human Resources, focusing on Talent Acquisition, Engagement, and Wellbeing. You will be working alongside experienced professionals, contributing to impactful initiatives and gaining valuable skills for a future career in HR or talent management.

 

This role is a 6 week internship program, onsite Monday - Thursday.

Approximately 20 hours per week, not to exceed 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Talent Acquisition Manager on full-cycle recruitment with the objective of completing at least one new hire.
  • Taking a new hire through the onboarding process
  • Work with Senior HR Coordinator to plan Events; calling vendors, location research, tracking expenses, ordering decorations, and supporting with other activities related to event.
  • Support wellness initiatives including desk drops, and drafting email campaigns.
  • Support special projects
  • Complete adhoc audits and analysis
  • Provide administrative support 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma is required
  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree 
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
