Summary

We are seeking a passionate motorsports enthusiast to support grassroots engagement across on‑road and off‑road markets. This role helps elevate brand presence, coordinates key tire programs, builds strong relationships, and provides hands-on event and trackside support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Grassroots Engagement & Industry Relationships

  • Support initiatives that strengthen the brand’s presence in grassroots motorsports, including identifying emerging series, product opportunities, and areas for market expansion.
  • Coordinate and support tire sales programs for motorsports and product marketing partners, ensuring accurate execution, proper alignment with brand guidelines and consistent program objectives.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with manufacturers (OEM and aftermarket), racing organizations, series officials, and key industry partners to support program execution.

Marketing, Brand Awareness & Contingency Programs

  • Assist in executing grassroots motorsports marketing activities to enhance brand visibility, racer engagement, and product usage.
  • Administer the tire contingency program by managing event alignment, competitor inquiries, awards fulfillment, and reporting, ensuring strong racer participation.
  • Partner with the digital marketing team by supplying program details and subject‑matter expertise to help support digital content creation.

Program Management & Operations

  • Support day-to-day operations of the Racer Program to ensure a consistent, positive participant experience.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with racers, partners, and TrackSide Performance to ensure a positive program experience.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending competitive pricing for the Racer Program in line with market conditions and profitability goals.
  • Track and report monthly Racer Program sales, providing insights to inform team decision-making.
  • Help manage and monitor inventory reserves at remote DCs to improve shipping efficiency and support cost-effective operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of updates that streamline operations and enhance program access.

Tire Order Management & Internal Support

  • Coordinate all departmental and marketing-related tire orders, including placement, tracking, fulfillment coordination, and customer follow-up.
  • Advise internal team members on appropriate tire selection as needed.
  • Maintain a detailed tire-order database to track allocation, value, and spending by customer, series, event, or program.
  • Perform monthly GL reclassification and report departmental tire spending for budgeting and forecasting.

Field Support & Travel

  • Travel to grassroots motorsports events (approx. 15%) to support racer engagement, contingency participation, and trackside program support.
  • Provide on-site product expertise, racer support, and partner engagement.
  • Collect real‑time feedback from events and partners and share insights with internal teams to help inform program improvements and product development.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in motorsports, automotive, tire, or performance aftermarket industries preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple programs and tasks within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable with periodic travel and event‑driven work schedules.
  • Passion for grassroots motorsports and enthusiast culture.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
  • Motorsports, automotive, tire, or performance aftermarket
  • Brand marketing or grassroots marketing
  • Program management (i.e. contingency, racer, or dealer programs)
  • Trackside operations, paddock support, or hands‑on involvement at grassroots racing events

Physical Requirements

  • Assist with event set-up and take-down
  • Employees must possess the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull and move materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Working outside, remote locations, endure potential extreme weather conditions ranging from below freezing to over 100 degrees.
  • Must be able to remain standing or moving on feet for prolong periods of time
  • Must be capable to travel by airplane and automobile
