Summary

Under direction received by the Associate Key Account Manager, the Field Sales Representative (“FSR”) is responsible for supporting the Sales team to ensure product will meet the customer’s needs and partnership with management team to increase sales in order to meet the objective of each division.  This position provides an opportunity to participate in car shows and product launches, work with our motorsports team at various racing events, and help out with sponsorship events taking place nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with sales representatives for all activities and develop sales opportunities with direct supervisor
  • Manages activity on SalesForce including communications, reports, appointments, and opportunities
  • Works to help business units reach overall financial objectives under the guidelines of supervisor
  • Understands the relevant customer information to manage the customer and all related products plus programs in order to present to customers
  • Demonstrates an excellent communication with internal and external business partners
  • Become knowledgeable with the business unit’s products/service offerings and competitors’ main product/service offerings
  • Implements the business unit’s commercial strategy regarding the customer under the guidelines of supervisor as needed
  • Understands the business unit’s tools and techniques such as its reporting tools and utilizes them to prepare and organize the necessary information required for a commercial negotiation
  • Become familiar with the business unit’s market strategy within the market, various methods of market research, market products and various commercial pricing concepts
  • Present and implement product knowledge at tradeshows, training meetings, presentations, customer meetings, ride and drives and more
  • Visits customer to establish strong relationships and update customers relating to product and program changes as needed
  • Establish calendar based on collaboration with direct supervisor to be maintained 2-3 weeks out, if applicable
  • Work closely with your direct supervisors in order to ensure daily collaboration and guidelines
  • Enter sales calls and other information SFDC, if applicable
  • Travel is required to reach and attain objectives

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Basic analytical skills required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer skills 
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for prolonged periods of time while driving a vehicle or working on a computer.
  • Event support such as Rid and Drive and trade-shows, including assisting with event set-up and take-down
  • Employees must possess the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull and move materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to remain standing or moving on feet for prolong periods of time
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
