Under direct supervision, this position provides operational support for production floor applications, panel PCs, and associated hardware. Supported systems include production systems and all related devices such as panel PCs, scanners, printers, and other IT equipment. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software on the production floor. This role also encompasses PC technician duties and inventory management for all production-related IT assets.

Work Schedule:

This is a shift-based position operating on a 2-2-3 schedule. The 2-2-3 schedule is a rotating shift pattern that typically follows this format:

• Work 2 days,
• Off 2 days,
• Work 3 days,
• Then the cycle repeats.

This schedule allows for every other weekend off and provides a balanced distribution of workdays and rest days over a two-week period. Shifts may include days, nights, or weekends depending on operational needs.

• Works with SEEDS panel pc applications
• Evaluates, installs, and supports production IT hardware including panel pc, printers, and scanners
• Works in a help desk environment fielding and resolving calls from production floor
• Progressively learn basic theory of in-house proprietary Yokohama software systems to provide daily support to production floor
• Production floor equipment hardware inventory for IT

• Preferred Ability to troubleshoot production floor equipment – Hands on Training will be provided.
• Ability to monitor and recognize deviations from normal processing
• Familiar with basic computer hardware and software.  
• Ability to coordinate maintenance functions with plant.
• Must be capable of placing service calls and shipping broken equipment for repair as needed
• Ability to communicate well with others and work in team environment

• High School Diploma Required 
• Entry Level/Basic knowledge of PC and Hardware
• Reading flow charts and diagrams

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively in both speaking and writing.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
• Frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
