Summary

The inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire inventory and ensuring inventory integrity and accuracy. This individual will be responsible for instructing and overseeing others during the cycle count process and coordinating all efforts surrounding maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and instruct others regarding the daily cycle count process and maintain a 97% or higher inventory accuracy by part number and location
  • Oversee inbound receivers and reconciliation process. Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, request adjustments and file paperwork
  • Responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, location accuracy, maintaining FIFO of all products
  • Maintain part number UOM, product put-a-way zones and location capacities to maximize inventory consolidation
  • Responsible for responding to Quality Hold alerts and communication in a timely manner and QA hold tires are identified and handled correctly
  • Track and report mislabeled product to management in a timely manner
  • Responsible for creating and monitoring completion of inventory adjustment requests
  • Oversee put away of all return tires and paperwork completion

Knowledge and Skills

  • Effective communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Proficient math skill
  • Must be able to interact with other employees in a professional manner
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Basic computer skills and proficient with the use of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in inventory control and understanding FIFO requirements
  • Experience with WMS and activity
  • Have an understanding of container scheduling and freight shipping and receiving processes
  • Experienced forklift operator – sit down LP forklift lift experience is a plus

Education and Experience

  • At least one year of inventory experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements

  • Standing 6-8 hours a day
  • Operate forklift 1-2 hours a day
  • Lift 20-49 lbs. occasionally
  • Computer use 4-6 hours a day
