As a Production Team Member, you are the frontline eyes, ears, and hands of our product. Through the operation of heavy, industrial machinery, you will play a vital role in producing tires at the Yokohama standard. Responsibilities

As a Production Team Member, you will work side-by-side with other operators, management, and maintenance to ensure our facility is producing the highest quality product possible. In doing so, you will be responsible for:

  • Strictly following and abiding by all safety guidelines and procedures at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and your teammates
  • Adhering to the YTMV standards of quality by completing thorough quality checks, inspections, and taking ownership of your work
  • Maintaining machine productivity to reach daily, weekly, and monthly production goals
  • Reading, understanding, and following Standard Operating Procedures
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and/or machinery issues and recommending countermeasures
  • Reporting any unsafe working conditions, causes of defects, or machine abnormalities to a Supervisor immediately
  • Completing daily reports and other check sheets for traceability purposes
  • Maintaining proper handling and usage of machine and equipment, tools, support materials, factory supplies, and other utilities to maximize efficiency
  • Complying with company rules and regulations
  • Helping to maintain a positive and clean working environment

Knowledge and Skills

To be considered for this role, here are the skills we are looking for:

  • A commitment to the Yokohama values and the high-quality standards of our product
  • A coachable demeanor with a desire to continuously learn and gain new skills
  • Prior work in a manufacturing or similar environment is a plus
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Familiarity (or an interest in learning) mechanical processes and machinery
  • The desire to work in an industrial environment with physical job demands
  • Experience reading and following Standard Operating Procedures

The flexibility to work unconventional shifts as well as weekly overtime

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
